The hotel was clean and comfortable, and in a perfect location for my needs. However, it had an overwhelming smell of urine and a musty, stale cigarette smoke odor.
Rooms
7.0
The rooms were clean and generally quiet, providing a comfortable stay despite the old and musty smell.
Service
8.0
The staff were all really nice and helpful, making my stay convenient. However, the linen being folded in the registration lobby was a bit odd.
Location
6.0
The hotel's location was good for being downtown, but there was a mess on the counters and floor with trash overflowing, impacting the overall experience.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was of very substandard quality, with stale cereal and tasteless eggs. Homemade marmalade was the only highlight.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's location, cleanliness, and friendly staff. Although the smell of cigarette smoke in the room was a downside, it was masked by strong cleaning products.
Rooms
7.0
The room I booked had a much bigger and nicer bathroom than expected. It was good sized and comfortable, but unfortunately, it smelled of cigarette smoke.
Service
6.0
The staff took me to view our room promptly, but their response to a guest struggling with the waffle maker was not very helpful. However, they were accommodating overall.
Location
8.0
The hotel's proximity to my job locations and the University of Oregon was convenient. However, the lobby area felt cold when the sliding door was open.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast was a nice start to the day, but I can't comment on other dining options as I didn't experience them.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offers basic facilities, including shops and laundry services.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great for us, and the dining experience, despite some drawbacks, was manageable. The facilities were well-kept, making my stay enjoyable overall.
Rooms
8.0
My room, located at the end of the hall next to an elevator access corridor, was spacious and had a large open shower, which was convenient for bathing my 11-month-old daughter without any hassle.
Service
9.0
The cleaning crew was very helpful during my stay, even assisting with a print job that I needed. Their friendly and helpful service made my experience more pleasant.
Location
7.0
The location of the hotel was ideal, close to downtown but still more affordable than other hotels in the area. However, the lobby area could get a bit overcrowded at times, which was a minor inconvenience.
Dining
6.0
The dining options were not the best, with limited and less appealing breakfast choices available. Despite this, I found the freshest fish option to be a saving grace.
Facilities
The hotel's facilities were good overall, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. However, improvements in the dining area could enhance the overall experience even more.
